Ideal for interior wood projects but can be used on exterior surfaces as well (exterior surfaces must be top coated with an exterior clear protective finish). To apply, use a clean cloth, wood stain brush, or foam applicator to apply Minwax Gel Stain liberally in the direction of the grain. After 3 minutes, wipe in the direction of the grain to remove excess stain. Reapply after 8-10 hours to deepen the color. Wait 24 hours before applying any Minwax protective finish.
